Charter Authorization

Peak to Peak Mountain Charter is authorized by the Maricopa Unified School District (MUSD).

This means that while we operate independently as a public charter school—with our own curriculum, staff, and instructional model—we are held accountable by MUSD to meet high standards for academic performance, fiscal responsibility, and student well-being.

As our charter authorizer, MUSD provides oversight and support, including:

• Reviewing and renewing our charter based on student outcomes and program quality

• Ensuring compliance with state education laws and funding guidelines

• Collaborating with us to meet the needs of our local community
