Peak to Peak Mountain Charter is a TK–8 public charter school offering a nature-based, whole-child education through Integrated Thematic Instruction (ITI). Rather than teaching subjects in isolation, our curriculum is built around central themes that connect academic content to real-world ideas. Hands-on, inquiry-driven learning is rooted in the Common Core State Standards, and enriched by our forest setting, outdoor experiences, and a strong sense of community.
We are committed to nurturing each child’s holistic development—fostering critical thinking, emotional intelligence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. At Peak to Peak, education goes beyond facts and figures; it includes exploration, collaboration, life skills, and meaningful personal growth.
Our small, multi-age classrooms are supported by teacher aides and parent volunteers, allowing educators to provide individualized attention and strong, supportive relationships. Students benefit from monthly, theme-based field trips, cultural events, and a rotating lineup of after-school enrichment programs—ranging from STEAM and coding to outdoor education, archery, chess, theater, and more.
We believe that when students are known, challenged, and supported in a caring environment, they thrive. At Peak to Peak, every child is seen, celebrated, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.
