Carolyn Schwantes
Peak to Peak Mountain Charter
Board President/County Representative
Mrs. Carolyn Schwantes retired on June 30, 2021. During her time at Peak to Peak she taught Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Professional Perspective: Teaching children is the window to the future. Carolyn's position allows her to help them discover their capabilities, guide them to experience education as a lifelong endeavor, and encourage them to reach their potential. This is the challenge that keeps her in the classroom. Each day is a new chance to challenge students and instill confidence and independence. With the Lifelong Guidelines and the Life Skills as building blocks, the students practice and adopt principles that will benefit them in all situations throughout their lives.

Rageshwar Goldberg
Peak to Peak Mountain Charter
Parent Representative
Hailing from Winnipeg, Canada, Rageshwar Kaur Goldberg graduated magna cum laude from The University of Pennsylvania in Architectural Design, and studied Art and Architectural History at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. After working for the award-winning design firm of KieranTimberlake, Goldberg found her true calling: education. In addition to leading communications/PR, alumni, admissions and giving programs at independent schools, she has a background in grant writing and consulting for higher education. She currently is the Director of Public Funding and AmeriCorps at Relay Graduate School of Education, a teachers’ college based in New York, where she leads public grants, bids and contracts. Passionate about designing programs that promote community and interdisciplinary learning, Goldberg directed a $6MM STEM grant that increased underrepresented students’ college and career success at Bakersfield College. She says her most rewarding work has been designing and being the Principal Investigator of a National Science Foundation scholarship and mentoring program for first-generation college students, and leading the alumni program at CalArts. Her daughter has been at Peak to Peak since Kindergarten.
